Art/STEM Clubs & CPD
Over the past decade, I have led after-school art clubs in South Yorkshire, mainly in Rotherham, both independently and for the Learners Trust. Recently, my partner Marie and I have also been running STEM clubs, leveraging my science and her extensive background in Maths and vast resume as a teacher and Headteacher.
In addition we provide Art and STEM workshops for Rotherham Schools HAF, a programme which offers activities and meals during school holidays. We also organise and deliver enrichment programmes during term time as well as CPD training for staff.
We cater to all year groups and love seeing children return year after year, as their skills and confidence grow amidst the challenges of engaging them outside the digital world.
Creative subjects are fundamental to the joy and happiness we experience through inventions, theatre, animation, scientific discoveries, and more. Without the freedom to imagine and the skills to create, these become unattainable. After-school clubs, HAF activities, and enrichment programs serve as excellent platforms to this creativity, making them essential components of education for both children and adults. We have dedicated many years to encouraging parents and grandparents to get involved too,

STEM
Our venture into the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) has been a success and a joy. The children have have explored a range of experiments such as bouncing bubbles, lava lamps, magnetic forces, monster hands, and the parents favourite, slime. There's a whole lot more we plan to explore, including a little bit of magic!
CPD - Staff Training
Staff in schools often need support to tap into their creativity and gain confidence in their artistic skills. CPD training sessions offer a great opportunity to explore, experiment, and receive the necessary support to explore new ideas with their students. We can provide these sessions anytime during the school year, whether during training days, or twilight sessions.
