Murals
Painting murals is a wonderfully gratifying job, especially when the results are enjoyed and appreciated by the families whose homes I get to paint in or by the patients and staff at the hospital units I’ve had the privilege to transform.

I usually begin by brainstorming ideas with my clients, creating several preliminary sketches before coming up with a final design to paint although much of the time my ideas will form and evolve once I have started. It can be quite an instinctive and organic process which suits me just fine.

I take delight in using my own characters and illustrative style which has come to fruition over the last few years while working on my picture books. This gives me much greater freedom in my designs and offers originality.
I enjoy creating vibrant and bold colour palettes, ideal for my target audience although I am always aware that children are our toughest critics. We have to please the wild ones!
