Our Place

This series of murals, funded by Rotherham Council, was part of a community project with Eastwood Village Primary School, created for a new local park. Over several weeks, I collaborated with the children to explore folk art and local wildlife, resulting in some wonderful ideas and designs which I used to create the final concept, printed digitally onto large di-bond boards.  I wrote a poem to highlight the park's significance for the community, contrasting traditional “Do Not” signs and showcasing the area's diversity and vibrancy.

Welcome to Stonelow

We spent the day working with the children at Dronfield Stonelow Primary school, each child designed a tile based on the work of the Disney artist Mary Blair.  I then rendered, modified and combined a number of these designs to create a digital collage, the artworks were once again printed on Dibond and installed in the entranceway.

Growing Together

I worked with the children to design and paint these seasonal murals for the school entrance once again inspired by the talented Disney Mary Blair.

The Four Seasons

These paintings represent the four seasons depicted in the style of four different artists , Friedensreich Hundertwasser (Spring), Romero Britto (Summer), Yayoi Kusama (Autumn) and Sonia Delaunay (Winter), they also illustrate features of the local area.

We Can, We will!

This primary school project is based on the design concept from the Rio De Janiero Olympics, the central feature is a combination of the Brazilian flag and the schools logo and Motto. The silhouettes depict some of the children I worked with.

Let it Grow!

These murals were designed and created for the playground and sensory garden of a Catholic primary school, with help from all of the pupils. The large mural represents the changing seasons in the style of a stained glass window.

Making an Impression

This large acrylic piece on plywood portrays a local primary school inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. Collaborating with G&T pupils, we photographed the school to choose the best view and used bold brushstrokes and contrasting colours to achieve depth and movement in an impressionist style.

I collaborated with students from a local secondary school to create a mural that promotes unity and diversity. It features an abstract world map inspired by the school logo's colours and shapes, along with silhouettes of the students.
